Time to ban automatic weapons

I live in the UK and have a shotgun and a rifle, and an assortment of FAC level air weapons. Our homegrown terrorists use bombs, knives or motor vehicles for their mass slaughter - all are either easy to obtain or construct with innocuous, off the shelf materials, and no one bats an eyelid over this.

Theres a level of hypocrisy here. No one is concerned over controlling materials, knives or motor vehicles, because they're so damnably convenient and the gun detractors usually happen to own a motor vehicle themselves. It's always somebody elses tribe at fault.
