Okay, at least we agree on one thing. Our health care system is a joke.
So, if I read you correctly, let's say for example that a person with no money or health insurance cuts their arm off with a power saw then the hospital they are brought to should deny them care since they can't afford to pay?
I never mentioned the word "free". You brought that up. You seem to be exceptionally hung up on the word "free". You have used it in multiple posts here. The fact is that some of the good things in life cost money. I'm okay with that. Health care for everyone is a good example of that. We are all people - poor or rich. All deserve at least some level of basic health care. A sliding scale payment system based on income seems fair to me.
Do you have any constructive suggestions for fixing our health care morass? I didn't see any. I'm open to positive ideas. Not another rambling, non-constructive rant.
