Time to ban automatic weapons

Logic and politics do not mix. Just take a look at the Texas' congress and the laws you are required to live with. Socialism, capitalism, communism, or any other ism in its purest forms cannot survive. There must be a blend where government owned industry/services are balanced with privately owned businesses.

The garbage haulers, water suppliers, electric suppliers, teachers, and internet(most monopolies) should be owned by the government. Finland has the highest paid teachers in the world, their logic: Who enables people to become scientists, CEOs, engineers and all the people who work?

Capitalism, is good. So long as there is competition. Competition keeps prices low and innovation high. The USA has lost its competitive drive, outsourcing all industry to other countries. The US congress has allowed companies to influence all legislation, in its favor. The largest companies are now stifling growth by buying start up companies or using the court system to shut down competition.

By the way, I like Texas! Some of my friend's families have lived there since the 1600's. They don't like the fact that the Americans flocked there and took a lot of their land.
