One last word on GLT v. T5. If I was forced to buy an automatic (which I almost was), I'd buy the GLT. The turbo lag on the T5(A) is just too great for daily driving. The GLTs actually feel, and probably are, faster around town.
My T5(M) has split personalities; The civilized, non-turbo (below 3,000 RPM) button down "Volvo family car." This is the car I drive when I'm on appointments for work. Then there's the Mad Max that is awoken at around 3k RPM. This is the car I drive BACK from my appointments, on weekends, or anytime I need a little boost (get it? boost!).
