uh, well, ummm.... I had come up with a mechanical injector, but for lack of better terms the timing mechanism sucks. essentially it is a ball valve that rotates via another timing belt (chain?). It injects via the spark plug hole. The valves are open for a brief time then closed to create a water hammer that will be deadened by the continuance of incoming steam.

My knowledge of solenoid or pizeo type injectors is limited. Thoughts?
