I'm not sure when they started putting the AC idle air valve on the cars
with AC. I know they had them in 1975 but maybe not in 1972. If you don't have
one you probably should get one (a salvage, etc) to get the idle speed higher
when the AC is on. It is easy to install and easy to hook up as others
have mentioned.
