Isn't this fun? I made every disclaimer I could think of to ensure that anyone who read my question would understand that I was curious about something that I didn't get.
I asked a question. I've never had good luck with a Delco and asked to hear others' perspectives. I wasn't trying to belittle anyone or assert that one is better than the other. I shared my experience and asked others to do the same. That's all. Hell, I thought that's what the brickboard was for. Oopsie daisy!
Touchy? Nahh. About some things, but not this. Curious, interested - yeah.
One guy offered a short, concise, completely understandible answer. Another guy offered a longer, sensible, completely understandible answer and listed several good reasons for using a Delco. I appreciate that. I was asking for info. I still don't want one in my own car (don't need any charging system repairs right now, knock on wood), but that's not the point.
So what's up with the "GEEZ" bit? What'd I do to piss you off?
I'll see your 'GEEZ' and raise you a 'Whatever, Dude.'
