On your friends 122...if it's one of my kits, and hooked up as per the instructions, I would expect the AMP light to function as before upgrade (unless lamp is burned out). If not, alt. may have been hooked up truly as a "one wire" system and alt. is self-exciting. Either way will work, its just that its nice to have the AMP light working also.

...and stop being so touchy!
