Here goes for a description of how mine is wired. There are two wires coming out of a plug and a "main bolt" that has the "+" going to the battery (actually to the starter then the bat). one of the plug wires goes to the amp warning wire (red one) and the other side goes to the "main bolt". This works for me, but I'm not sure which delco alt I have as it's been so long since I had a problem with it.
