in-tank pre-pump mounting? 200 1989

NOTICE:

When I received the pre-pump (Scan Tech) from fcpGroton THE BOX CONTAINED THE SMALL HOSE. It lloks as though it is just a peice of regular hose line, seeing as it is probably more than 2 inches long (i.e. needs to be cut down).

The dealer wants 20$ for 1 meter of hose (likely just regular hose). For that money I got the hose as well as the replacement pre-pump.
