testing fuel pressure regulator

Was this while the car was running? If not, it only confirms that the check valve works and that yes your pump can build pressure. Pressure and volume are different. Example: you could have say... 85 psi water pressure in your house when all taps are closed, but if its delivered through a clogged filter or a 1/8" line you won't get any volume delivery.
