Wiper Problem Solved 200 1988

A while back, Art asked me to post my solution for I believe his database of odd wiper problems.

Maybe my several month drama will also help someone else.

The wiper motor works off an on, but only at one speed. At high speed, it seizes 1/3 of the way up, but moves when I switch to slow speed.

It turned out to be the wiper motor. I installed a junkyard wiper motor and the wipers are like new: 2 speeds; intermittent; no seizing.
