Update: Wipers Don't Work; No Power 200 1988

Hiya 1908242DLa,

I guess I could add it may take an extra drip treatment of some clean oil to lube the space the rotating wiper shafts and the thingy, we, bushing? Sintered bronze bushes? I dunno right now.

Else, as Art says with electrical gremlins.

A spare wiper stalk that is known good is a quick test tool. Like a spare AMM or crank position sensor. The salvage yard is your pal.

I need to get a newer digital camera. Art's camera does really well. The Sony DSC-S30 cameras I have indicates age in how the camera renders the image into a jpeg. TIFF is not much better.

Not down the threaded portion used to secure the wiper arm to the shaft ...

See how the circlip is turned up in the image (the gap) toward the windshield? There you see the gap between rotating shaft and the bushing or tube thingy the wiper shaft rotates. So, drip in there. With the wiper motor on low or intermittent the oil gets drawn into a the gap. Mobile 1 15W50 (Tho I use the 10W40 the motors.)
