Found: Fix for a persistent problem 700

I have been through a number of wet weather issues with this car, including not starting until I sprayed everything with WD-40. I carry a can now and use it more than I ever used a spare tire. Last year I burned up all four AAA tows with wet weather problems. In answer to your question: We did check the plugs before replacing anything. The o2 sensor has a waterproof plug (theoretically).
In the course of my preventative maintenance I have cleaned all contacts in the fuse block and relay rack and sprayed them.
Strange, though. Now that the o2 sensor has been replaced the coolant temperature guage is fluctuating from zero to center erratically. I hope I didn't swap one elusive problem for another.
