Re: How does one make an S60T5 ALOT faster? 850 1997

There is a chip for the S60T5 now. It costs about $1000US. Get a full 3" downpipe, 3" race cat, 3" cat-back with a 3" silencer exhaust for another $1000. Get lowering/stiffer springs for $550. Get shocks/struts for another $400. Anti-roll bars for $300. Strut tower brace $150. Open element high flow air filter for $100.

$1000 + $1000 + $550 + $400 + $300 + $150 + $100 = $3500 plus shipping and handling and taxes should come to $4000.

Since the S60 now comes with ~260hp, these mods should bring it to the ~350hp area. And the suspension upgrades should make MUCH better use of the power.

All of these parts are available, you just have to look for them. They are available in Europe, so you'll have to import the ECU for sure.
