I am familiar with Barry Sharps post and should have said something when he posted it, there wasn't then nor is there at this point in time a software fix for the problem you and he are experiencing. The 2001 key fob activation would not be from an S70, they stopped making the S70 MY 2000, but I get your point. I also believe the problem is happening, several people have complained about it, I have not seen it at the dealer I work at yet.
