Barry Sharp reported this problem. I have also experienced it. According to Barry a MY2001 S70 key fob activation will sometimes setoff MY2000 S80 alarms... if the cars are in close proximity. Perhaps it does not happen to all vehicles. Anyway, Barry reported a download number and a part number supposedly solves the problem for MY2000 S80 owners who experience the problems. My dealer didn't know anything about it.
