this is a shot in the dark but have him check the wiring to the radio relay. I was having problems where it would start one day and run great and the next day or 10 minutes later run like crap. While it was idling I started to play with the relay (under hood setting on the radiator overflow) and the car cut out. I went ahead and soldered the relay but it didn't help. I got a new one and when putting it on I noticed one of the wires was loose. That was two months ago and have not had any problems since.
