Heater Control valve - Alternatives? 200

I bought an original style valve this year from a local National Auto Parts store. However, this outfit is not your average, they really look for a source before they say it isn't available and found two listings. I don't remember what it cost but it looked identical to the original. The box said made in the USA, one part of the valve said made in GB, another said made in Spain. Now if I could just banish the electrical gremlins.
