Distributor problem 120-130

Hi Phil,

I can't find any air leaks so that's one less thing to worry about. I had a look at the needles - they're SM which isn't what I asked for but I think that they rank between KD and DX.

I've set the timing to just under 20 degrees and checked that the advance increases as the revs rise.

I reset the carbs again but there's a misfire across the entire rev range now. I think that I need to spend some time learning how to set the carbs correctly - it wasn't misfiring as badly yesterday. I'll keep at it until I get it right.
I'm new to twin carb setups so I've a bit to learn.

One last question - I mentioned before that the points spark before they're at the top of the cam and therefore well before the rotor meets the cap contact. Is that normal? The gap is set to 40 mm - the dwell angle is 59 degrees which is ok I think.

Thanks again for your help,

Aidan
