No start: Electrical/Injector problem 700 1988

Both sides of the injector contacts will be at 12V as soon as key comes on. The 12 volts simply flows through the injector coil and is reflected on the other side as well. It will not go to ground until the ECU fires the injectors. Have you checked the radio supresion relay? It supplies 12V to the injectors. If bad it may not pass sufficient current to fire the injectors, you will not see this with your meter because the grounding signal from the ECU is too fast.
