David,

Thanks for your input. The radio supression relay is on the driver's shock tower, but there is only the one- nothing on the other side, makes me wonder where the fan relay is located.

Turned out to be the ECU on this car. Went through my inventory and found I had one there. Plugged it in and the car fired right up. Those units (541?) are not normally troublesome but they are not bulletproof either. Thanks for your help.
