240 1988 Odometer does not work.... how difficult is it to change out?

IF you decide to go deep into this (risky) then use two spoons to pry the needle off and remove teh screws holding the plate. You eill have to replace the needle at the position it came off too, so that might be a factor. Have you just tried to find the gear first? That operation does not require such a drastic surgery.
