Differentials, speedo's and ABS 200

Hi guys,

I came across a Limited Slip Differential of an 89. I was thinking of fitting that on my 92 240, but seaching through the archives I got suspicious of the compatibility of this swap (credit to Dr. Don Foster).

Speedo: my speedo (miles) has a K39200 number, which I guess means it has the fine spaced ABS ring fitted (Car does not have ABS). This I assume probably different of the 89 arrangement.

My rear has a sticker with the following nos: P1216419, 3.91, T108851.

What are my options: swapping out the ring? Swapping out the speedo? (are the connectors the same.

I must note that my car is UK (miles) spec. I now live in Norway where all is KM, does the miles/km make a difference to the "K" number?

I guess the good news is that I could fit ABS on my car without swapping the rear axle, also nice in snow and ice, but I guess that would be a touch one.

Regards,

Jorn
