Randy is right as usual. But having done a few dozen, I say you can do it with instructions. Not hard, in an hour you can do it. Just one place for disaster: do not hook a red/white wire to anything unless you have a tach. Write if you want full instructions. Also, the little replacement gear has to be seated correctly and I have done it wrong 10% of the time until I learned it is not quite fool-proof.
