Tommy. You have not said if valve clearance was adjusted by owner, some people just dont know how. An inlet valve too close will give symptoms like that, look for atomised fuel at carb intake or feel for pulses where comp is getting past valve on overlap. Hairline crack in cap between 3and 4 terminals?. Regards Jack McIntyre.
