B230FT not starting.

That is what I am thinking. I think that may be part of my problem as well as the distributer being off a little, not enough juice from the battery, a few vacuum leaks, old gas. Each step so far I've done the motor gets a little closer to starting. How do I tell if the injectors are injecting. Can I take a spark plug and crank it to see the fuel being injected?
