problems with 122 out of storage 120-130

Jimmy me lad: Don't get your knickers in a knot. No offense was intended, and you are correct, I DON'T know what you did and/or undid, which is why I didn't reply to your post directly (you should know by now that if I've got something to say in reply I'll reply to the writer...and not hide behind some third party). The point I was making to Ron, as he so well knows, is that it's a shame that many owners os SU-carbed cars will immediately start fiddling with them without looking elsewhere for problems first. As an 'SU guy' having dealt with them in one permutation or another for the past 25 years, this situation comes up every, and I mean EVERY, spring, with guys trying to get their MGs, Austins, Jaguars, Morgans, Datsuns (!), and yes Volvos to fire up after a long storage, and when unsuccessful, begin by twisting, turning, adjusting and generally screwing up perfectly good settings on the carbs, and then having to panic because they didn't bother to record their baseline adjustments. I'm convinced that this isn't the situation with you (as you confirmed in your post-mea culpa) and no offense was intended...it was just an observation to another carb 'expert.'

Brad
