What are your thoughts on the 960?

Dick,

Thanks for the suggestion. I found the FAQ, and after reading the info, this doesn't look like a car that we would want to consider.

The 960 sounds like an Alfa, not a Volvo. My old Alfa 164 and GTV6 had similar issues. It's expected from tempermental Italian iron, but from a Volvo? That's too bad. This particular 960 is a beautiful car in wonderful cosmetic shape, but if we were looking for Alfa-style issues and the paranoia and dread of exceedingly expensive repairs, we would just turn to the Italians.
