Volvo's are great!

I hope that I enjoy the car. I see it as a better built, more logical version of the famous British Ford Cortina which was a squared-up rear drive sedan which looked great but didn't last long!

Which model is yours? Us Brits could only get the B200E (GL), B230 (DL Wagon) and 230E(GLT)models in 1988.

My car looks as clean as a six year old. The only woes are a small (dime sized)hole in one seat, a tiny scrape on the rear arch which will polish out and a bit of rust on the top face of one rocker panel where the paint has rubbed off.

I am really looking forward to having electirc windows again, and the luxury of the seat heaters!

I'll keep an eye on the guage. Can you fit extra Volvo guages to the '88s like you could with the earlier models with the same dash? Or does the stereo get in the way?
