Sounds like a good idea. You can get PU bushes in Britain for Volvos, and as the car is going to be a rolling project I can take it off the road and fit them at my leisure whilst I use my Rover. I also plan to change all of the fluids in the car, fit some secondhand Volvo guages, make sure those bulkhead grommets are sealing properly and drive it as much as I can!
