Haroon -

Had similar situation with drive thru deer country around Thanksgiving en route Houston to El Paso. Your headlights paralyze them a bit, louse up their instincts of what to do. We would - given correct road and traffic conditions - run slower with no headlights and lots of honking. Maybe it was luck, but we never had even a close call.
