I've tried those things and I don't like them. They prevent the

gasket from sealing correctly so there is a whistle from air coming

in where they clamp around the window (and water if you was your car)

plus they are harder to deal with if you open the window very often

(at least the ones I got which will fall off if you open the vent).

Is it so hard to glue metal to glass?
