IMHO

Get KYB shocks.

I've had KYB on a '75 245, and an '80 244 later upgraded w/IPD Swaybars. I recently got an '87 245 and put on Boge TurboGas, I regret not sticking w/KYB.

KYB w IPD bars has a much more secure feel, sticks to road around corners, on highway entrances around curves holds at faster speeds.
