I replaced the shocks and struts on my 82 Turbo with the Boge Turbo gas because of an earlier suspension upgrade to my 89 DL. On the 89 I used the Boge Turbo Gas units as well as sway bars from a turbo sedan and a set of 15" Turbo wheels. Greatly improved the handling and they don't produce a harsh ride.

Because of this good experience on the 240's when it was time to replace the shocks and struts on our 740 sedan I went with Boge Turbo Gas. I don't like them on the 740- it produces a much harsher ride than I would prefer.
