OK pipe wrench......

Or as I recall somebody ground two parallel flats just wide enough for a wrench of some size then levered it off and somebody else just ground down to the contact surface and then vice grips brought it out with ease...of course you'll need a new plug...but, er....you already knew that. Sorry, wish I was there....it's sort of a specialty of mine...usually fixing my own stupidity.
