Saab for Volvo guy

I expect SAAB depreciation to still tumble for a while as there is no more SAAB company. Used parts are still available, thank goodness.

Remember, maint hist is the most important thing to you. The turbos are a known weak area and usually don't last past 80K miles. The cars tend to develop rust spots in front of the rear wheel.

It is a FWD, so the engine bay is cramped. The sorry excuse for a cup holder is probably the world's flimsiest. Keep your key chain to a minimum because it will scratch the console.

I can't drive a SAAB because the center console is too large and fights with my right leg. I did own a 1978/9 turbo, and it was really fun, except for getting to know other customers at the dealer service department. My turbo went out at 40K miles.
