Not sure how doable this is, but you might consider drilling an extra hole or two in the headlamp housings, and rewiring the headlamp, as well as bypassing the funky connectors.

I did something similar with my non-fogs E-codes. Rather than scrounge for weird connectors, I just rewired the headlamps. Used heavier gauge wire, too. :-)
