All 1990+ turbo 940 are LH 2.4.
LH 2.4 uses an RPM sensor, mounted at the back of the engine, for an ignition trigger, and LH 2.2 uses Hall effect in the distributor for the same.
We have four piston oil squirter cars in the fleet, and two with earlier engines. I have a ported 531 head with V cam in my 944. The ECU and EZK are chipped, the G valve is set for just over 14 psi boost, and it has an upgraded turbo. It is sure nice to drive. It also has IPD sway bars, and my own design and construction strut tower brace and lower chassis brace.
