It's new engine time - What cars to source for B230FT L block Turbo head?

The solid rubber mounts were used through the 1986 model year, both turbo and NA. In order to use them you must change both engine mount brackets on the block, and both engine mount brackets mounted on the front crossmember. I wouldn't bother. If you feel you must use those, contact me. I have all four brackets left over from a project.

The 13mm connecting rods were incorporated as a running change during the 1989 model year for both turbo and NA B230s.

You are correct that L blocks are 1993+. Those engines go quick in the Pick-n-Pulls. Both turbo and NA engines have the piston oil squirters. L block B230s came from the factory with the curved tooth timing belt.
