It's new engine time - What cars to source for B230FT L block Turbo head?

I believe 1995 will be the last 940 you will find in the US market. So your search is narrowed to 93-95. The only 240T you will find with a turbo L block is one that someone created aftermarket.

I don't understand the advantage of putting normal aspirated pistons in a turbo block. If that is the route you want to go why not get a nice NA engine and turbo change it? Are the larger rods something that only Turbo engines had in that time period?
