Thanks for the reply, I don't seem to have any problem with the vacuum lines to the heater or the a/c unit. I had that problem on my 92 960 which I remedied with a vacuum reservoir from a Saab. Worked perfectly after adding that even on a long uphill grade. I have been without a check engine light now for about 2 weeks but I hesitate to say it's fixed as everytime I do that it comes back on!
