I have had a problem with this V90/960 in that the check engine light has been on for about a year now. Lately I took another try at fixing it by replacing both O2 sensors and the cat. The light stayed out for about 120 kms. I then took it to a Volvo repair shop and they said the front O2 was no good. $400 later the check engine light stayed off for 6 days. Now it is back on and if I clear the code it will stay off for up to three days or sometimes 2 hours. The shop figured that it was a bad ground or a bad ECU. I changed the ECU and now I have more power and better fuel economy and a check engine light! I have reached the limits of my expertise and need help. If anyone out there has experience with a similar problem I sure would love some help with this thing. The consistent code is P0131 which is: O2 sensor low voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1.
Thanks to anyone that can give me a clue as to what to try next.
