Help ...strut/sway bar problem. 700 1988

I would re-attach the brackets themselves alone and leave the ends loose.
Then lower the car onto its wheels and turn the steering wheel one side and swing the swaybar down onto the top on the link or down to mount the horiz. bolt. Then do the other side.

You may need to remove the swaybar completely first if it's still attached at the strut/swing arms and go from there.
