Who has been using TurboTax software for a long time?

Nope... other coast - New York.

I thought of the 7 year thing too, but apparently, they started this crap a few years ago but after I had moved away. I did save all those papers but some items and cartons were mysteriously lost during a move. This is exactly the reason I could not just send off copies of my old records.

A local CPA would have trouble doing this for me as I no longer live in NY or US.

Those program disks that you mentioned as changing each year are what I am looking for.
