Urgent! Problem in Changing Thermostat. 700

When I try to remove the two bolts of the housing, I can't losen the lower nut,
two sides of the hexagon nuts deformed, I can't use the socket to remove it cause it will slide.
I tried the small open wrench it does not work well either.

Shall I try the tiny adjustable open wrench?
or do you guys have any suggestion?

I really need to fix it asap.
