Urgent! Problem in Changing Thermostat.

Lux, at this point, I would leave it alone... unless you just did a coolant flush of some sort and NEED to remove it? If that is the case, I would go to the Volvo dealership tomorrow first thing and get some replacement nuts/bolts (whatever they were, I can't remember anymore) and use those when you put it back in. In my experience, reusing deform nuts/bolts is never a good idea.

In any case, yes, are you sure you are using the right socket? If the socket is exactly the right size, it shouldn't matter much if only 2 of the 6 sizes of the bolt are deformed, unless they're deformed REALLY badly.
