Do you really think the entire Kennedy clan wasn't given a copy of the letter to Obama? Do you really think that Obama would have quoted the letter if there were any objections?
Except for the TV cameras looking for tears, was there anything WRONG with reading a portion of the letter in front of the public?
Obama has the right, as did his predecessers, to use tragic events to get legislation passed. With the extremely low amount of common sense of our congressmen, that is the only way to reach them.
