Coated rotors V70-XC70

Hi,
2004 V70, 2.4, M56. Girling 286mm discs.
With Pagid coated rotors what are people's experience doing the bed in process?
Pagid says no hard braking for 200 km the drive normally. My understanding is that the coating is just anti-corrosion and does not replace the bed in process.
