Adult owned, non-smoker, never raced, clean title in hand, no warranty - car is sold as is. Located in Seattle, WA.

Serious buyers only. Read and view all pictures before contacting.

This car is a rare P80 Volvo S70 Base with a strong M56 Manual Gearbox. In need of some love. Asking $1,250

History: I purchased this car in 2013 from a dealership in Western Massachusetts. The previous owner was a family from Boston and the car had 86k miles on the odometer. I had it serviced by a Volvo Mechanic in Salem, MA for 3 years until I moved to Seattle.

I'm the second owner of this vehicle. It has gone cross country once and many long trips and never left me stranded. Most of the miles driven since I purchased the vehicle have been highway miles.

I'm selling only because I'm moving. I really would like to work on it but I do not have the time or space to do it.

Interior: Originally cloth seats, I got some V70R Alcantara heated seats and added the leather back seats. Very Rare and comfortable.

Exterior: Paint is rare coral red. For a 22 year old car, the paint and clear coat has been maintained. The exterior needs little work to take care care of some scratches and scuffs. Added OEM Volvo Thule Rack

Undercarriage cleaned regularly during New England Winters.

Headlights: It has Jewel Euro Lights (not Amazon fakes) from FCP. No Rust. Retail: $550 - I added the fog lights and the relays from a 70R.

Electrical: Everything in working order. ABS Module replaced. Passenger side lock has fallen down, but works perfectly fine

Mechanical - Engine: Solid Engine, burns a little oil. It will need a timing belt service soon. Spark plugs changed recently and religiously changed oil filter and oil every 3000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil. Fuel filter changed every 10K miles. Last oil change was November 2019.

Mechanical - Other: This car has a 5 speed manual transmission and it shifts like butter. Here is a list of things done to the car since I got it:

Brake job on all 4s with Bosch Disks and Volvo Pads
New Bosch MAF sensor
New O2 Bosch Sensors (front and rear)
New Thermostat
New Fuel Filter
Battery replaced - 2 years ago
PCV System Done 50K miles ago
Had the transmission serviced with fresh fluid

Tires: Pegasus Rims on all four ($600), a bit scratched, though

Air conditioning: Heater Core replaced ($250)

Suspension: Brand New Bilstein Shocks and IPD springs on all fours, new seats and mounts ($950)

Steering: Rebuilt Steering Rack from Rack Doctor and labor ($800) - No Leaks

Audio System: Stock Audio System

Security: Aftermarket Alarm. In working order

Future work: The car is 20+ years old. Timing Belt and Water Pump is near, Leak in the Power Steering Pump, Fuel Smell coming from the tank (vent hoses need replacement), Oil Leak in the camshafts at timing, catalytic converter, front axles, CV joints and wheel bearing. Maybe some work on the brake lines, calipers and E-brake, air inlet filter needs cleaning.

Includes two keys and custom sun shade

Disclosure: I have described the car to the best of my knowledge. Contact me if you have any questions.
